Ready to get crafty? LUMI Creative Co offers hands-on sessions where kids can explore their creativity! Workshops will allow for those messy, explorative, exciting processes that you don’t always want happening at the kitchen table.

Throw a craft-tastic birthday party or special event with us! Choose a theme, and we’ll handle the fun. Kids will make awesome crafts to take home, and you get to relax and enjoy the day. It’s creativity, fun, and smiles all around!

Hi, I’m Alysia!

Hi! My name is Alysia (pronounced uh-lee-sh-uh - yes, people get it wrong all the time - no, I am not offended). I am a mother of two amazingly spunky kiddos, a former educator, and the founder of LUMI Creative Co (formerly SoCo Kids Craft Club).

When I became a first-time mom in May 2020, the isolation of the pandemic hit hard. I really struggled with the lack of support and community. Even after life got “back to normal,” I still felt the sting of it. I felt robbed of an experience that I should have been able to have with my first born child.

My family grew once more when my son was born, and I struggled to find a healthy work/life balance as a teacher and mother. I left the classroom and began my search for something new. The desire to create a space for families to socialize and grow together is what inspired me to begin this journey.

Looking ahead, I dream of growing LUMI Creative Co into a full-scale play café—a welcoming, creative hub where families can gather regularly to laugh, learn, and create together.
